Alchemical Wealth Builiding

In my Sources for Cashflow post, I briefly describe why I have decided to focus on utilizing the cashflow quadrants of Self-employment and Business (and what distinguishes these two in Self-Employment vs Business) as my primary FA-O (first attention-outer) aspect of my overall Alchemical Wealth Building Strategy. I am focusing at this time on Internet Marketing as my primary strategy for both of these.

There are several reason I have chosen Internet Marketing as my first venture into the FA-O (first attention-outer) aspects of Alchemical Wealth Building

First many of the common methods of Internet Marketing lean towards Alchemical Business (& Alchemical Marketing) values to begin with. For example one of the core ideas of Alchemical Marketing is to create value for people whether or not they buy anything. Many Internet Marketing Strategies rely on creating free quality content whether it be a high quality content website for pre-selling and/or search engine optimization; or a free report, (or ebook or mini e Course)) for list building. Second, start up and recurring costs are can be extremely low. There is a lot off quality free information about how to get started. The actual execution of the start up can be achieved with very little capitol. To get this Blog matrix up I spent $9 on hosting and 10 Dollars on the domain name. To get my list building underway I have spent 20 dollars on an auto responder. That is a total of $39 Dollars to start with $29 dollars recurring monthly and $10 recurring yearly . I found enough free information that I could have not spent a dime more and still build my business. There are several free online courses that are designed to take you step by step along the path to generating good income form Internet Marketing. In fact a few days ago (8/1/08), The Fourth annual 30day Challenge began which is a contest designed to take you from scratch to earning your first $10 dollars online with out spending a single cent. I am participating in this. I will be sharing about this and some of the other free courses on my blog devoted to Internet Marketing

There are many IM strategies that just the $29 of monthly recurring cost will allow me to put into action and I can implement many more strategies for the $10 dollar cost of a new domain name for each campaign. There is no other kind of business that you can start up with such a small amount of capitol. For those who have a little more to invest it can be even easier and faster to get started.

Third it has the potential to provide a great deal of flexibility in how much time I put in, when I put it in and from where I put it in.

Fourth, and this is a specific elaboration on the third, IM has the greatest immediate potential of any business strategy (at lest that I feel currently I have the capacity to implement) to minimize the amount of time I am spending each day on the activity of financial sustenance. If you have read some of the entries in my other blogs then you will know that having a lot of time each day to spend on Personal Alchemy is both important to me in general but also as a key feature of my overall Wealth Building Strategy . I personal think that working 8 (or 10 or 12 hours) hours a day 5(or 6 or 7) days a week on surviving or even building a retirement (even if it is early retirement) is insane, especially if your not passionate about what you do for income and if it is not align with the Core Intention and your Visionary Heart Path (Core Intention & Visionary Heart Path convey an idea similar to what some call “life purpose” but what I mean has subtle nuances that diverge from most peoples definitions – however for the purpose of general understanding of what I mean here, “life purpose” will suffice). I feel that if a larger amount of time is given to inner life strategies then the outer strategies will in general be more effective and require less time.

Last but by no means least – A big part of my larger vision is helping as many people as possible ‘become the change they want to see in the world” and express that change through wise, compassionate, and empowered interaction with the world; to inspire and help as many people as possible to participate in creating a sustainable global civilization that recognizes and lives the truth of our interdependence with each other and the environment. Internet Marketing natural integrates with this intention for several reason – First, the internet is the fastest, least expensive way to make available to the greatest number of people all the knowledge, tools and resources people need to effectively express their own vision of participation in creating a sustainable global civilization. Second the internet has tremendous potential to link people of similar vision and intention to each other. Third because the internet is so pervasive no group project for global transformation, regardless of size and scope can afford to not utilize it as a tool for marketing their message, intention and activity. As anyone in marketing knows, marketing is not limited to activities that have financial gain as their motivation; even non-profit organizations have to market themselves. And finally, while it certainly needn’t be the central cashflow strategy for every Alchemical Wealth Builder / Global Alchemist (or an kind of heart-centered Visionary) it does, for the reasons offered above, lend itself as a good choice for many.
