Alchemical Wealth Builiding

My FA-O (First Attention-Outer) wealth building strategy is currently focused on a blend of the self-employment and business quadrants (see sources of cashflow). While someone is self-employed is usually considered to have a business, the idea suggested in this distinction has do with whether the business owner ais essential to the business’s operation on a day to day basis. For example if you have a consulting business and you are the only consultant, then you are self employed, even if there are people who work for you. Basically, the income that comes in rest solely on you doing the consulting. If you hire other people to be consultants for your business and you could, at least in theory, hire someone else to run the business (office manager or CEO depending on the scale) then it is a business. If you are a consultant and also have product that you sell and the mechanisms that sell and deliver them does not require your participation then you are both self employed and a business owner.

Self-employment, on its own, is limited in its cashflow capacity by the number of hours you can devote. You can increase how much you earn per hour of time invested but after a point that becomes hard to do. Also if you don’t work then there is no cashflow. A business has unlimited potential because it is not bound by the time availability of one person. It can also create cashflow while you are not working, potentially even 24 hours a day.

Being self-employed and owning a business both have significant tax advantages but owning an incorporated business has more tax advantages as well as other wealth building strategies that self-employed and non-incorporated business don’t

I am currently self-employed because the business I am building currently requires my effort and will not produce any income without it. However, by wealth building plan is designed to build my business to the point where it can operate without my personal involvement.

As Global Alchemists, Alchemical Wealth Builders engage all 4 quadrants of Skillful means. In terms of wealth building, in regard to FA-O strategies(first attention-outer: basically actions in the world as most people see it), creating cashflow is foundational. Robert Kiyosaki, in his Cashflow Quadrant: Rich Dad’s Guide to Financial Freedom, has identified 4 major quadrants of cashflow possibilities: Employment, Self Employment, Business, and Investing (Real Estate and Paper -stocks, securities etc). (Royalties from intellectual properties seems to be a fifth, but I know Kiyosaki is aware of this cashflow possibility but I don’t remember how he fit it in)

The Global Alchemical Template can be applied to each of these to engage them in a way that expresses the alchemical intention. I am initially focusing on the self-employment and business strategies because they are the most aligned with the current expression of my Visionary Heart Path (as best as I can determine) and most relevant to the Project Global Alchemy Bootstrap Experiment, as a whole.

Beyond business fitting the current expression of my Visionary Heart Path, as I have said on the Alchemical Business Blog I believe Business to be an arena of engagement on the global stage that has a great deal of leveraging capacity for supporting positive change.

Furthermore, I feel self-employment and business are likely to key strategies for a lot Global Alchemists. While it is certainly possible to make investing choices that are aimed at bring benefit. (in fact I just learned about one yesterday that I will write about soon) as it largely aimed at money itself rather then expressing some personal vision, I think it is likely to be more a support strategy for Global Alchemists rather then a central part of their visionary expression. (I am sure, for a few, it could be their visionary heart path to make investing a central part of their way of interacting with the world to express the change they are becoming). Likewise, I think the most common ways a Global Alchemist will make employment a central part of their strategy will be by being involved with an Business that is trying to express itself in alignment with the Global Alchemy Paradigm. Thus more Alchemical styled businesses must be brought into existence before a lot of Global Alchemist will likely find remaining in the employment sector as the highest expression of their Visionary Heart Path. However as the Alchemical Path always begins with where you are and since a large percentage of the world currently use employment as their central cashflow generator, I will also look at strategies for applying the Global Alchemy Template to that sector in early stages of this blog development.

I will also be focusing on business because, according to my investigations, even if you are using one of the other cashflow strategies as your primary choice there business can be a powerful support strategy that everyone serious about wealth building should consider. For one thing it provides very significant tax advantage (at least in the USA, I am not sure how universally true that is outside of the USA)

The Phrase “Alchemical Wealth Building” can be parsed in two ways-‘Alchemical Wealth’ building as in the building of “Alchemical Wealth” and Alchemical ‘Wealth Building’ approaching building wealth in an Alchemical fashion. At first glance these might seem like different things however it is not possible to be an alchemical ‘wealth builder’ without first and foremost being an ‘Alchemical Wealth’ builder.

Alchemical Wealth is the treasures no thief can steal and no moths can eat. It is what you get from authentic inner alchemy- inner transformation. Wisdom, compassion, unconditional happiness, unconditional bliss, true freedom- these are examples of Alchemical Wealth.

One cannot even begin to build external wealth in an alchemical fashion until one at least intellectually understands that no kind of external wealth (be it money and that which it buys, relationships, achievements, “power”, recognition or even health) can actually be a source of true happiness. To the degree that ones aim at building wealth is based on the mistaken belief that it is a source of happiness and satisfaction then to the same degree ones aim diverges from Alchemical Wealth Building

To an Alchemical Wealth Builder the only reasons to build outer wealth are to support ones inner transformation and to benefit others.

Put in terms of the two divisions of Global Alchemy - Alchemical Wealth building is wealth building that is in accord with the Principle of the Core Intention and thus entirely motivated by and directed towards personal and global transformation. From the outside it can look like any mundane approach to wealth building (though often it won’t) but it has several distinctions internally

1. The motivation and aim of Alchemical Wealth Building is personal and global transformation
   1. This flows from the understanding and eventually realization of the truth that happiness and satisfaction are an internal affair
2. Alchemical Wealth Building approaches the process of building wealth such that the activities of external wealth building increase rather then deplete “Inner” Wealth
3. The core of the Alchemical Wealth building strategies for building external wealth is the building of Alchemical and Internal wealth
4. Alchemical Wealth building utilizes all four quadrants of Skill Full Means
   1. Exoteric/Outer – The specific mundane mechanic of wealth building in any of the four “cash flow quadrants” as defined by Robert Kiyosaki in his Rich Dad, Poor Dad series (employment, self-employment, business building, and Investing)
   2. Exoteric/Inner– the psychology of wealth building, communication skills, leadership
   3. Esoteric/Outer – using esoteric methods to create outer results
   4. Esoteric/Inner – Building Alchemical Wealth – seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven

As an expression of the alchemical template Alchemical Wealth Building is concerned with:

• Accomplishing the two sublime aims of Absolute Freedom and inexhaustible Benefit (Another way of expressing the Principle of the Core Intention.)
• Completely integrating what ever form of wealth building one is doing with spiritual practice focused on the goal of alchemy
• Creating financial, material, and temporal resource bases to support transformational projects – included in the class of transformational projects is individual spiritual /transformational practice.
• Creating wealth building strategies and structures that are themselves transformational and empowering to every one that is effected by or involved with them..
• Pursuant to creating the temporal resource base for transformational projects, to build wealth in a way that consumes minimal amount of time from any given individual. The ideal of this is so that engagement in group transformational projects itself yields abundant wealth for those engaged in the projects and in such a way that everyone has plenty of time to devote to their foundational daily personal alchemy practice (The Global Alchemy approach to project engagement is such that the engagement is itself a form of personal alchemy, however this is dependant on the daily engagement of foundational daily alchemical practice separate from outer project engagement. The more time given on a daily basis to the foundational personal alchemy practice the more project engagement will also function as personal alchemy especially in the earlier stages of alchemical training. Also, up to a point, the more time the individuals involved with a project spend on a daily foundational personal alchemy practice the less time will be need to be devoted to the shared project)

While Alchemical Wealth Building can be applied to building any kind of wealth as part of the Alchemical Hero training for Global Alchemist it is especially focused on building financial wealth as other kinds of personal wealth are covered in other aspects of the training (inner wealth and general achievements with Visionary Heart Alchemy Fundamentals, Emotional Brilliance, and Genius Genesis; Health and Athletic achievement with Alchemical Fitness; Relationships with Alchemical Communication and Alchemical Intimacy.)

Alchemical Wealth Building is built upon all the other trainings. While it is possible to begin Alchemical Wealth Building while at beginning stages of the other trainings, as it constitutes the first major crossover from Personal Alchemy to Systems Alchemy and because of its reliance on all the other trainings it can also be considered a second stage of training

As they are concerned with overlapping areas Alchemical Business& Entrepreneurship and Alchemical Wealth Building have similar focuses of attention, However Alchemical Business&Entrepreneurship is more focused on the system itself and Alchemical Wealth Building on the individual who is using Alchemical Business& Entrepreneurship as one his/her wealth building strategies. There are other wealth building strategies but I have chosen to initially focus on business and entrepreneurship, both because it more integral with the rest of the Project Global Alchemy Bootstrap Experiment and because of the critical role Business can play in the needed Global Transformation.
